Happy Birthday to... someone!

Ok, it's not the best picture, but I just had to share the card I made for our birthday card swap over at Cropper's Cottage. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. We started out with a crew of seven who were supposed to be cropping tonight at one of the local scrapbook stores, and ended up having five of them cancel for various reasons, so it ended up being just me and my sister-in-law. We had a great time and I got a lot done, even though I was really upset that I left my supplies for my ATCs at home. :(

This is the first page of the layout I did using my two favorite butterfly pictures from Dow Gardens. I used the new KI Memories lace paper - love it! It's kind of a pain to get it to stick to the regular cardstock, though.

Here's page 2.

That's all for now. Have a great weekend, everyone!

hope you still had a good time, pages are the card look great. I had to spend some time with Randy, since I was at the mega meet all day Thursday. So we went to the casino for a little over an hour.
But we will get together soon.

Too bad you only had two croppers, but it still sounds like a lot of fun!

Your card is just beautiful! And you know I love those butterfly pages -- the photos are amazing!

Oohh love how the lace paper looks and your card is very pretty. What kind of paper, is it just print or embossed Jen?

Jeanne, the card is vellum embossed in the Cuttlebug. I chalked over the "happy" on the bottom to make it stand out a bit and attached it to the card base with the brads in the flowers.
